Alright, just try to do as much as you can on it Burnt pies. Also Accepted ragnarok (I would say no because of the power of the character, but it does seem a rather neutral character, so alright).

So how many characters is one allowed to have, or is there essentially no limit as long as they're reasonably spread out?

Also, while there were mentions I didn't see any sort of comprehensive list of races of the world in the Info subforum (although most of my characters are likely to be human).

Well I would say as many as you like, but keep it reasonable. Also, you can generally pick any high medieval fantasy humanoid race, which is something I'm allowing for now. If it gets ridiculous then I'll make a list.
