The groups
1. The lycanthropy society: The lycanthropy society is a group of people who have embraced their lycanthropy in a rather strange way. They infect the rich and powerful, in order to keep it a high class society. The lycanthropy society is an enemy to most, and must hide their identities.
2. The necromancers’ temple: The necromancer’s temple isn’t really one temple, it’s a series of them scattered around the world. The largest is actually in Charred legion territory, although necromancers still make the pilgrimage there, and there have been a few Crusades of the damned in order to stop the charred legion. Necromancer temples tend to be under target from Adventurers.
3. Minor religions: The world is full of minor religions, such as the squirrel of Thergona, the octopus that predicts the future and the almighty invisible one. While not as important as the major religions, they still play a big part.
4. The eccentric mechanics: The eccentric mechanics were originally mainly dwarves but now consist of all races. They’re a secret society of inventors who leave their mark on every invention they make. The Eccentric mechanics have tipped many a battle into the favour of those who aid them. The first rule of the eccentric mechanics, is don’t talk about the eccentric mechanics.
5. The secret market: A market from which you can get all sorts of goods, illegal in that area or not. The secret market isn’t really one place; it’s a series of vendors who bring goods around the world, usually illegally and they usually undermine the efforts of the world trade bureau.
6. Centarii senate: The senators who run the Centarii, they’re known largely by the populace as arguing old men, but these arguing old men tend to get the job done.
7. The house of the apothecary: A place founded by a charitable man, the house of the apothecary is known as a band of apothecaries who travel the worlds, curing diseases and helping the injured. While they don’t tend to get involved with war, a sudden influx of gold into their hands might change their minds.....
8. The anarchists: Anarchists are basically rebels, criminals, thugs and people who cause trouble. Every city has a small amount of them but they’re easily dealt with if the city has a trained guard.
9. Bandits and raiders: Bandits are a constant menace, robbing caravans, looting hamlets and committing in acts of murder. Bandits are basically anarchists who don’t live in cities, but form camps and raid more. Both raiders and bandits have strong presences everywhere.
10. Pirates: Pirates are bandits of the sea, groups of marauders that assault trade ships and even occasionally have the audacity to attack navies. Pirates are hard to catch sheerly because they either have very small fast ships, or hide on islands.
11. The school of the mighty warrior: The school of the mighty warrior has taught very few individuals, but among them are some of the most famous warriors in history. Founded by a man shrouded in mystery, nobody knows much about the school of the mighty warrior. Practically everyone doesn’t even know where it is.
12. The academy of S.C.I.E.N.C.E: S.C.I.E.N.C.E, or Safety Causes Incidents of Nothing Coherently Educational, is the leading academy in general SCIENCE! With the actual advancements of science currently though, it’s more or less basic sciences with a lot of magic mixed in.
13. The great forgers: The great forgers are a fabled mythical group who were said to have made some of the greatest armour and weapons in history. They were said to live on top of a volcano, combining magma with powerful smithing ability and ores, they created several armour sets. Some of their works were stolen, destroyed or even broken, but there are a few full sets supposedly left somewhere. It is said he who owns a full set is practically immortal.
14. The united species council: Following the events of the war with the Charred legion the nations of the world were heavily damaged. In hopes to stop a similar war from happening the united species council was founded, or the USC. The USC contain representatives from all races, factions and nations.
15. The world trade bureau: The world trade bureau practically control the global market, in a sense that they know what’s selling and can flood the market with that easily. Several times the World trade bureau has saved economies on several occasions, although some people dislike them due to their control of the market.
16. The guilds: There’s practically a guild for anything anyone could think of. Guilds are organisations of people with similar talents, some guilds help them find work, generally give people work or generally try to do better than other guilds.
17. All major religions: The major religions are an important factor in the world, affecting several events. Many of the major religions have followers all over the world, and most of the religions hate each other’s guts out. If it weren’t for the USC then many religious wars would have been started.
18. The animal men confederacy: Many animal men over the world have been forced into lives of slavery. The animal men confederacy is attempting to stop that, with large enough numbers they could easily overthrow those who would attempt the enslaving of animal men. Just about every animal man race are members.
19. The cult of the eastern star: The cult of the eastern star is a mysterious group who seek to raise Nogad, the fish demon that was trapped at the bottom of the sea. They’re said to be searching for five islands which link up in a star, it is said that under there Nogad sleeps and waits to feast upon mortals.
20. The magi: The magi are the wizards of the world. Ranging through all types of magic they can vary. Magi got a bit of a bad name with some races, especially after the Demon Archmage, which once terrorised the world. The magi train for years in order to be good at magic, although there is quite a large amount of them that are bad at this.
